Target Audience:

DEMOGRAPHICS: Audiences can be classified into groups using quantitave data. E.g age/gender
Target Audience Age: 15-24 (mainly rock music fans)
Gender: Both male and female
S.E.G: Students - Group E: Casual Labourers/Unemployed/Pensioners/Students
PSYCHOGRAPHICS: There are different sections in society and different people who will read you magazine.
Target Group: Groups who are both INNER and OUTER DIRECTED
INNER-DIRECTED: I-am-me, experientals, societally conscious (people who believe they are right, don’t care about stuff –bungee jumpers/life experiencers/interested in the world)
OUTER-DIRECTED: belongers, emulators and achievers (want to know everything, want to be in ‘the loop’, copy cats, people who want credit and status)
I have chosen this target because it is the catagory where most music fans fit in, and my magazine is mainly for the people that enjoy this genre of music.
